Wind Turbine Generator load control system

At the present time Woodridge Enterprises is testing a load control system for a Permanent Magnet Wind Turbine Generator.  The Wind Turbine Generator itself is built to the popular design by Hugh Piggott.  Once the design has been verified, it is intended to publish the design so that other enthusiasts may build a similar device.  Check back here for details of where to buy the manual.

Wind Turbine Generator data acquisition system

Work has commenced on a data logging computer system for use with wind turbines in isolated locations.  The system is based around an ACPI compliant computer system (Hibernate) to minimise power consumption, while providing the option for regular emails of acquired data.  An internet connection is required.  If wireless internet is impractical, GPRS / 3G mobile is an option.  Further information on this "Dial Home Device" will appear shortly.
